Shabby Chic Storage Tray

Hey Everyone,

I found a few old vintage cupcake trays at my vintage shop and I decided to alter a few to store some of the embellishments that I use the most.  I had so much fun painting and altering this pan it matches my crafty room :) I hope you guys like this idea!  Below you can see a Before & After Photo.

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend

Shabby Chic Storage Tray
I painted the pan with white acrylic paint and also added some texture.

I added a Prima Flower on the top and some Vintage Velvet flowers from my Vintage Store.

On the sides I added a beautiful trim from KarlaS001 Etsy Store

And also some beautiful Pearl Trim that I found at the Flea Market :)

  2. Wow, what an insane idea. I am SO loving this. And its sooo shabby chic. I think this is the best idea i've seen in ages. Did you have to treat the tin with something first or just paint over with acrylic paint? And please tell how you did the texture. This is just way to cool, Juliana. Thanks for ALL the inspiration you give to us all. I'm always so blown away by your video's. Just wish you would do a few more tutorials!!!! Hint hint.
    Hugs to your and yours.

  4. Very nice. A good thing to do with muffin tins you can't use anymore.

  5. What did you apply to create the texture? I want to try to create something like this. Beautiful work!
