"Journey" Frame - Prima Romance Novel

Hey Everyone!!!!!

I am very excited to share with you one of my first projects that I created for Prima as part of their new design team.  Prima has a new collection called Romance Novel.  Super beautiful papers love the colors and the romantic feel to it :) For my project I altered a regular wood frame that I found at the Flea market and added chicken wire so I can hold little notes and Prima trinkets.  I called this frame "Journey"  I used new prima flowers, wood clips and trinkets from the Romance Novel Collection.  It is also a great way for you to store your jewelry and even make it into a note board.

Here is a little sneak peak of the collection :)

If you are going to Summer Cha you will be seeing this project there! You can watch my video of this project Here.

I hope you find a little bit of inspiration you can also see more of this gorgeous collection here at the Prima Blog.

Thank you for stopping by!

Matilda Birthday Card & Hanging Sign

Hey Everyone,

I want to share with you a birthday card and a hanging sign that I created for one of my friends.  I used a lot of beautiful trims from Thepiecebypiece Etsy store.  The paper collection I used is by the Scrap Cake called The Bright Side of Life.  I LOVE this paper collection it has gorgeous shabby chic colors and I just love all of the teals.  I was happy to have made a Matilda card its been awhile since I created one and I was glad to have had a little break from my projects.  This stamp is Tilda of Sweden  I colored her with my copic markers and she is one of my favorites so far.

I hope you enjoy these projects and please be sure to visit Thepiecebypiece.... Below you will find close up pictures of the trims ;)

The beautiful gray crochet trim is from France :)

I made the box using a white organza trim from Thepiecebypiece Etsy Store.

I colored Matilda using copic markers and I paper pierce her dress, shoes and her hat.

Thepiecebypiece also sells the banner chipboard pieces and I created a hanging sign with it :)

For the flower in the center I also used a beautiful lace from the store.

Shabby Chic Spice Rack Using Prima Pixie Glen Collection

Happy Monday Everyone,

I want to share with you this Shabby Chic Spice Rack that altered to store my shabby chic and vintage buttons. I love vintage spice racks and I found this little one at my Flea Market awhile back.  It was all wood color so I painted white and used a lot of crackle medium to make it distress and shabby :) I then used one of my favorite paper collections by Prima - Pixie Glen.  The colors in this collection is so soft and shabby chic.  Each little jar has a different paper from the collection.  I used different pieces of seam binding, laces and trims with a little pink satin bow.

This is one way I store my small embellishments and I hope it inspires you to create one too :)

Hey Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am jumping with joy and happiness today as I am one of the new Design Team Members for Prima.  This is a dream come true for me.  I fell in love with Prima ever since I started scrapbooking two years ago.  I remember in the beginning I used to call everything Prima because I loved it so much LOL and because I didn't know much about products back then ;)

I am still shocked and I can't wait for this new journey!!!!  I want to thank all of you so much for following me on blog, thank you for those who also watch my videos on Youtube and thank you for believing in me.  I work so hard on all of my projects but I wouldn't have done it without all of your support and love. Thank you all so much and thank you Prima for this dream come true opportunity!!!

Vintage Shabby 7Gypsies Shadow Box

Hey Everyone,

I am here to share with you another Vintage Shabby Chic Shadow Box that I made.  This one is a little bit different because instead of using a furniture I used this 8x8 Shadow Box by 7Gypsies.  I love the color of the wood.  I didn't do anything to the tray color and instead I focused on using whites and creams for the inside and the edges of the shadow box.  Each little square represents one of my favorite words.  I also used vintage laces and trims and a few metal embellishments by Tim Holtz.  The little chipboard corners are my Dusty Attics...love them :)

Hope you enjoy these pictures!
