Heart Pillow Cushion & Tutorial - Prima February PPP

Hi Everyone,

I am excited to share with you this Heart Pillow Cushion I made for Prima February PPP.

This is beautiful color palette for this month of love <3

I am in love with these gorgeous colors palette and I had so much fun playing with them.  I used the Prima Resist Canvas to great little cushions, these could be perfect as a pin cushion, wall decor, gifts, and more.

Here is a little tutorial on how I put them together.  The Amazing thing about the Resist Canvas is that you can color them any color, add lots of textures, stamps and much more..... the ideas are endless. :)

You will need Prima Resist Canvas, burlap and white paper to create your heart cushion.

It can be any size.  These little hearts are aprox 4 x4 inches.  I used regular white paper to create a template first.

I then pin the heart template into the resist canvas to create the front of my heart cushion.

Then you will have the front of your heart cushion.

Now let's do the same to create the back of it.  I am using canvas fabric to create my background.

Here we have the front of the heart and the back.

You can glue or sew around the edges of the heart.  I glued mine using Fabric Tac Glue.  Add some filling inside your cushion.

Now the fun part begins:  You can spray or add any time of texture to your heart cushion.  I used Shimmerz Sprays in Aquas and Pinks to alter mine.

Once you have the color you would like, you can then decorate your heart cushions.  I used this gorgeous new Prima Trim, chipboard embellishments and flowers.

Hope you enjoyed this simple easy tutorial and it inspires you to create some with the
Prima Resist canvas :) Be sure to play with the PPP this month for a chance to win!

I love the Vintage effect the sprays gives the laces and the Prima flowers.

Hi Everyone,

I am very happy to share with you this Shabby Chic Keepsake Box that I altered using a lot of beautiful trims, laces and embellishments from one of my favorite stores Suhafuha Etsy. Watch Video HERE.

I am very honored to design for her beautiful store and I had so much fun playing with all of these goodies.  I used this beautiful Shabby Chic Rosette trim in a Vintage Pink Color around the box.  In the center I used some of her metal embellishments and added a cameo.

I also made a handmade flower using her trims and embellishments :)

I added a few vintage buttons to the box and used Pink Velvet Ribbon on top of the box.

The inside of the box was painted and added a few Venice Trims to the top!

Cartographer Journal - Introducing Prima's Flowers

Hi Everyone,

I am back with another project using one of Prima's new lines Cartographer and new Prima Flowers.  This collection was designed by Frank Garcia...... soooo beautiful! Watch Video HERE.

I am in love with this collection its soooooo Vintage!! I used a photo take at the Grand Canyon!
The new prima flowers are beautiful too with different styles and colors!

I added a little of Gesso to the flowers to make them a bit more Shabby Chic and added a few Prima Metal Embellishments like this Vintage key.

Since the Grand Canyon is full with treasures I thought this cute metal sign by Prima would be perfect for the journal :)

Please be sure to check out the Prima Blog for more sneak peaks of these flowers!
