Sewing Room Cabinet - Vintage Shabby Chic

Hey Everyone,

    I have another altered cabinet that I found at my thrift store.  Since I love sewing and anything to do sewing I decided to use this cabinet to store some of my vintage thread spools that I've been collecting.  I altered them a little bit too.  I used the beautiful Vintage Attic Treasures paper by Melissa Frances.  Love how vintage shabby chic it is :)

Shabby Chic C'est La Vie Wardrobe Shadow Box

Hello Everyone,

   I am very excited to share with you my latest project.  As many of you know I love to find little treasures at my flea markets and thrift stores.  I found this beautiful little wardrobe furniture awhile back for just $2.00 and I thought It would make a cute shadow box.  I used the beautiful paper collection C'est La Vie by Melissa Frances.  I love all of the images and the shabby colors in this collection.  I also embellished it with a few little treasures that I've been collecting for awhile! It was so much fun to put it all together!!

Princess Tilda Paper Piecing Challenge

Happy Weekend Everyone,

    I made this card using the Princess Tilda Magnolia Stamp for the Paper Piecing Challenge that Jo & Rina are hosting.  I used the Follow your Heart Paper Collection by My Minds Eye.  Love all of the bright and soft shabby chic colors in this collection.  I embellished my card using Prima flowers, Iamroses, seam binding and hearts.

I did paper piecing on Tilda's dress, socks, sleeves and even her crown.  It was a little challenging trying to cut all of the little papers but I love how it turned out.

Prima Almanac "Dream" Layout

Happy Monday Everyone,

   Today I want to share with you this "Dream" layout that I made using the Prima Almanac Paper Collection.  I am in love with the soft colors that this paper collection has.  I tried not to use too much black and focus on a soft shabby chic look.  All of the embellishments in this layout are by Prima.  I got this frame as a Christmas gift and I wanted to create a layout for it.  I had a lot of fun making this layout and I hope you all like it!
